Carlos Camargo de Colón

Carlos Camargo is an administrator with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors with focus on energy and agribusiness. Before joining Gasmig's Board of Directors he was Chief Executive Officer and board member at Sulgás, a piped gas distribution company in Rio Grande do Sul, where he led the privatization process and the post-privatization transition. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Bioceres Crop Solutions, a multinational in the agricultural microbiology, that is listed on Nasdaq (USA). Carlos has extensive international experience having worked in Argentina, Brazil, United States, Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates. He began his career at the Morgan Stanley investment bank and later spent fourteen years at UBS where he worked in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Carlos received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Columbia University in New York City. Carlos is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Dom Cabral Foundation and of the Board of Directors of the Cruz de Malta Foundation.
